At a recent networking event, someone mentioned to me, “Gen Z doesn’t know how to interview.” If he is correct, then some interview tips might help. But these aren’t just for Gen Z. I’ve interviewed people in every work-eligible generation, and poor interview skills exist across generations.

TIP 1 of 10:
At the end of the interview, have at least one question for the interviewer.
If you can’t think of anything, ask: “How would you describe your management style?”
No matter the response, you will learn a lot from it. Some interviewers fumble on this question, and you will gain insight to help you decide whether you want to work for them in the first place.
